The Downtown Columbia Partnership presents Books in Bloom, Columbia, Maryland’s inaugural book festival, in celebration of the city’s 50th anniversary year. Books in Bloom will bring together some of the country’s best and brightest writers for a daylong festival celebrating the joy of books and reading. Readings, panel discussions, a poetry wall and pop-up bookstore by Politics & Prose are featured.

In partnership with the Howard County Library System, Books in Bloom will launch Summer @ Your Library, featuring crafts, games, and activities for all ages.

The festival is free and open to the public of all ages.
